Cindy has been an active LiveWellFit member for 6 years, mostly attending the 5:00 am classes.
She is 57 years old and with two grown sons and has been married for 36 years. Her favorite things to do are working in her yard and going on long walks.
When reflecting on what she likes the most about LiveWellFit, Cindy says, “I love the women [The Tribe] and the amazing instructors. The environment at LWF cannot be matched at any other gym in town. LiveWellFit is truly a community of women.” Cindy began working out with owner Suzi McKee and instructor Sam Holder many years ago and says that she had no fears about joining LiveWellFit. She was hooked from the start!
Joining a gym can be intimidating, but Cindy has some advice regarding LiveWellFit. “Most people thing that everyone else is watching them at a gym. That is not the case at LWF. All of the girls are working hard and keeping up with the instructors. LiveWellFit is a very loving and accepting place with no judgment.”
Throughout each week, Cindy can be found in a variety of different classes at LiveWellFit, but her absolute favorite class is instructor Sam Holder’s PUMP class every Thursday morning.
Though Cindy has been working out for a long time at LiveWellFit, she is always amazed at what she can do at age 57 compared to other women her age. “I was recently at a conference and while everyone was taking the escalator, I always took the stairs. It was not a problem for me to climb several flights of stairs and I always beat the people riding the escalator, “reports Cindy.
Cindy has set goals for 2018, but her most important one is to keep moving! Her LWF friend, Sarah Houlette and her always say, “we may not be in the front of the line, but we are in the line.”
