Our Staff

Our instructors have over 36 Group Fitness Certifications including Pilates, Cycle, BodyPump, BodyFlow, BodyJam, BodyCombat, BodyAttack, 360, Personal Training, AFAA Group, RIPPED, TRX, Zumba, Balletone, Boot Camp, Yoga, Spinning, Sports Performance Training and Barre.

 

Each instructor is trained to provide modifications for all fitness levels, as well as those with previous injuries.

Owner, Suzi McKee has over 30 years of experience in the fitness, dance and health field. She holds a B.F.A. in Physical Education and Dance from Southern Methodist University, along with 28 fitness certifications. She is also a Fit Tour Representative for the Texas Panhandle and New Mexico Area.

I've been in the fitness field for over 30 years. My Passion is working with women who want to learn to ENJOY moving by exposing them to all types of fitness programs while improving their self confidence.  By helping them find an exercise type or class that they love, they learn to enjoy a healthier lifestyle without "dieting" and make total health a part of their lifestyle forever. I teach a variety of classes including dance cardio, toning, and yoga.


I am blessed to get up every day and do what I love to do.  I can only hope I bless the women that I have worked with and continue to work with, as much as they bless me.

I have worked in the fitness industry since 2007, and have been with LiveWellFit since 2012. I take care of things behind the scenes so the rest of our lovely staff can do what they do best!

I love being a part of LiveWellFit and helping women be the best versions of themselves.

Mindy Douglass

 

I have been working as a registered nurse for the past 15 years. Prior to that, I was a Physical Education teacher and taught group fitness classes, taught swim lessons and managed outdoor pools in the summer. I have been married to my husband for 29 years have two daughters that live in Lubbock and Colorado. I love new adventures and love to try to new things. I lead the outdoor training program at LiveWell Fit.

 

My passion is to show women that life does not stop after their kids are gone and that you are never too old to dream a new dream.

 
Mary Lindsey Gabriel

 

I've trained, competed in, and taught dance and cheerleading throughout my life, and I'm currently a makeup artist as well. I have been through depression, pregnancies, major life changes and many body weight fluctuations. I know now that I have found a balance and healthy way to live. I started as a client with Live Well Fit in 2010 and eventually decided to start teaching classes. I also recently became certified in personal training. My husband and three boys keep me busy and inspire me to become stronger.

I love helping women to discover how strong they can be inside and out.

Samantha Holder

 

I have taught fitness classes in a group format for 13 years at four different facilities. I am certified in cycling, yoga and Pilates, Body Combat and a Body Attack Instructor. I teach a variety of early morning classes at LiveWellFit.


Teaching is my passion, whether that is teaching my Live-Well-Fit gals or teaching my students in my role as a Literacy Coach at Sleepy Hollow Elementary.  I love to run and have proudly completed races at the 5k, 10k, half-marathon and marathon distances.  I love all outdoor activities, including hiking, hunting and biking. 

I just love to see women and children reach their full potential.

Susan Kendall

 

I have been a physical therapist for 18 1/2 years and I feel VERY blessed to do what I do. I received my masters in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech in 1998, and more recently became certified as a personal trainer. I feel that my PT background helps me with my personal training skills because I have a lot of experience modifying exercises according to individual needs.

 

If you are someone who is feeling frustrated by what you CANNOT do, I can honestly say that I have wrestled with that myself due to my own medical issues. I would love to be able to help you find what you CAN do. I want everyone to know that NO MATTER where you are in your workout needs, wants, frustrations, I would love the honor of working with you.

 
 
Cherra LaFleur

 

My journey at LiveWellFit began in January 2014 when I joined a 60 Day Challenge.  Over the next year and a half I lost 65 lbs. and 45 inches by drinking Shakeology, eating healthier and working out.  I was taking a lot of different classes at LWF and loving them all.  So, when I was encouraged to get certified in kickboxing and start teaching classes at LWF, I jumped at the chance. Now I teach a variety of kickbox and cardio classes, and lead our outdoor cycling class as well.

 

My passion is to encourage and motivate women to have fun moving their bodies while becoming healthier.

Laci McCreary

 

I have a history of ballet and dance training dating back from the age of three through college where I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet and a minor in Business.  I was blessed to join the teaching team at Live Well Fit in 2013.  Being a part of Live Well Fit has enabled me to combine my dancing knowledge with the health and fitness industry, given me an opportunity to work with women of all ages and backgrounds, and has challenged me to look for new ways to train the body.  One of my favorite classes to teach is Cize, which is a fun cardio based dance class that keeps you moving without the feeling that you are working out.  

My hope is to inspire, encourage and motivate others to seek a healthy lifestyle.

Janine Messenger

I have been involved with health & wellness & in the fitness industry for 20+ years. I hold a BS in Anatomy & Kinesiology from Eastern Washington University, MBA from North Central University and am currently enrolled in doctoral studies for Health Care Administration.

 

I am a licensed massage and therapeutic health practitioner. I am certified for personal training, Yoga/Pilates, BOSU, PiYo, TRX, H.I.I.T. & Boot Camp, CIZE, Barre, and strength & conditioning.

 
Morgan Neill

 

I have had a history with athletics all the way back to the age of 7 when I began competitive cheer. I was a state champion, a well as a runner up through high school.  I was a top 10 finisher 5 times through out my competitive career as well. After a traumatic injury during an exhibition forced me out of cheer I looked for something to keep staying active and pushing myself while allowing me to work around my injury, and that’s when I discovered Barre. I have always had a passion for fitness, but Barre quickly proved to be my new happy place.

 

I can’t wait to share my blend of fun and fitness with a nice touch of challenge to keep y’all on your toes!

Kary Wingo

I have been a court reporter for over 30 years, so that means LOTS of sitting.  I have enjoyed Yoga since I was introduced to it around 20 years ago, and have found it very beneficial on many levels, physically for increased flexibility and strength and mentally for concentration and stress relief. 

 

Instructing Yoga is something relatively new for me, but I love introducing the practice to new people and sharing with others who enjoy the practice as I do.
